The objective of the assessment and feedback is to train and teach the employee, whilst reinforcing qualities which should be preserved and focusing on the weak points, while providing solutions and teaching coping strategies.
Often assessment and feedback of employees is given emotionally, not in an orderly manner, and with no preparation on the part of the provider of the assessment and feedback.
