Networking Skills

Background

Managers, owners of businesses, self-employed and employees, are all required to utilize their social networking skills in an educated and professional  manner. This is in order to achieve their optimal potential and exploit business opportunities to the fullest. The ability to effectively utilize a network of contacts depends on the approach and also the expertise of a person. Expanding the network of contacts is possible, both for those who have a broad and a limited network of contacts.

The objective of this instruction is to provide the person the ability to adopt approaches and perceptions to improve his networking skills. These skills will help his networking efforts, including utilizing the network of contacts that is created, maintained, and expanded in an effective manner.

Objective

To provide, to improve, and develop the ability of each participant to identify opportunities to create contacts and to expand his network of contacts. The ultimate goal should be using the network of contacts as a leverage for business development and growth.

Target Audience

Managers, business owners, sales and marketing personnel, professionals and anyone who is interested in enlarging and leveraging his network of contacts in order to grow, both business-wise and personally, will benefit from this workshop.


Methodology

The workshop will be presented in a frontal manner, combining discussion with the audience whilst bringing examples and thoughts about how networking may be performed effectively. Thus, exercises of short conversations in the framework of a business meeting/seminar will be performed, as well as individual work to examine and analyze the personal network of each participant. Preparatory work is performed, in order to adapt the lecture to the profile and requirements of the participants.
